Yes. I picked the hottest day of the year to take the ferry to Governor’s Island and ride a bike. Fridays you can ride around the delightful little island got an hour on a rented bike for FREE! And actually riding along the water there was a lovely breeze so it didn’t seem that bad. Mr. Softee at the end of the bike ride didn’t hurt either!
